About the founder
A closet company veteran who now works only for you.
The founder spent a decade on the inside of the closet industry. He founded and ran Austin Closet Solutions, designing, manufacturing, and installing custom closets, offices, and garages — and successfully competing with the big franchise companies by going the extra mile on detail and service.
After selling the company in 2023, he became The Closet Advocate and now works entirely on the homeowner's side of the table. Because he no longer sells or installs product, his design guidance is genuinely product-neutral: the plans are yours to shop with any closet company.
Before closets, he built 20 years of decorating, painting, mirror, and artwork experience. That background shows up in the finishes, color direction, and small details that make a storage space feel finished rather than just functional.
